This 9 bedroom/12 bath residence on Lake Austin includes a boathouse with a private ramp, a helicopter hanger, and a separate 2 bedroom/2 bath residence for the property manager.

The estate was acquired by a single man with ties to Hollywood and the music industry and was in serious need of updating. We were hired to bring a rock and roll chic to the mansion while still respecting the extravagant architecture and interior details. The client agreed to move to LA for 9 months and gave us free reign to execute our vision.

Over-the-top was the starting point, but wit, sophistication and luxury were the benchmarks. Materials and finishes were unparalleled and the transformation from maw-maw to Rolling Stones on the Rue was dramatic.

The client returned for the reveal and paid me one of the biggest compliments I have ever received. “You got me,” he said, “you really got me.”
